SMILE Pt. 2

 

As Covid started to tighten its evil grip over our beautiful city and depression started to kick in, I tried desperately to stay in the field drawing the locals without mouths - albeit from a safe distance.

Some made the coffee, some drank it. Some were in a hurry, some (like me) took a little longer to take in their surroundings. Sometimes I’d write down their names after eavesdropping the barista asking them for it to write on the cup, and I’d add in their order to help me remember what their beverage of choice was.

Here’s a few second generation portraits drawn over about a 12 month period.
