Cactus have for decades been close to my heart, partly for their ridiculous shapes and of course mostly their protection. I think the spikes are actually more to do with the collection of moisture so they don’t shrivel and die than anything else, but the fact you can’t pick one up at Bunnings unless your fingers are like chop sticks is reason enough to find their anger management very en pointe.

Yes. Cactus in my book score much higher than anything else you’ll find in the Chelsea Flower Show!
